A complete greenhouse hydroponics system that grows plants without soil, using NFT channels or substrate beds with a circulating nutrient solution. Pump, filtration and dosing equipment are sized to the growing area, and the system can be supplied with a new greenhouse or retrofitted into an existing one.
A greenhouse hydroponics system grows plants without soil. Instead of feeding the crop through the ground, nutrient solution is mixed in a tank and circulated to the roots, so water, nutrients, oxygen and root-zone temperature can all be managed directly. That is why hydroponic growing uses less water and less labour than soil culture, and why yield per square metre is higher.

Plants are held in net pots so the roots sit in the nutrient stream. Solution is pumped from the tank through the growing channels or beds and returns to the tank, where it is topped up and re-dosed. The root zone stays moist, aerated and within range, and the crop takes what it needs when it needs it.
NFT (nutrient film technique) - plants sit in channels and a thin film of solution is pumped past the roots continuously. Root systems stay compact and the channels are easy to inspect. NFT suits short-cycle crops such as leafy vegetables and herbs.
Substrate system - solution is delivered to each plant through drip emitters on a timer, flushing the growing medium and bringing fresh nutrients, water and oxygen with every cycle. Substrate suits longer-cycle and heavier crops that need more root support.

The package covers growing channels or beds, nutrient tank, pump, filtration, main and branch pipework, drip emitters or net pots, and the control gear, sized to your crop and bay layout. Growers who only need the irrigation side can compare our drip irrigation system, and crop-specific layouts are covered in the greenhouse hydroponics range. USDA publishes extension material on soilless growing, and FreshPlaza reports on commercial protected cropping.
NFT suits short-cycle leafy crops and herbs where root systems stay compact. Substrate suits longer-cycle and heavier crops that need root support and a buffered root zone. Tell us your crop and cycle length and we will recommend one, or a mix of both in the same house.
Yes. It can be supplied with a new structure or retrofitted into an existing one, provided there is enough headroom and a level bay. We size the tank, pump and pipework to your growing area.
The hot-dip galvanized steel frame is designed for a 15-20 year service life in normal agricultural environments, with a double-sided zinc coating of 200-275 g/m². Film covers are replaced every 3-5 years, while glass and PC panels carry their own manufacturer warranties.
The hot-dip galvanized steel frame carries a 10-year structural warranty covering structural safety, plus a 5-year warranty against corrosion perforation. It is designed for a 15-20 year service life.
Send your growing area, crop type and local climate. If you already have a layout drawing, that is enough to start. Our engineers then return a quotation with a system layout and a bill of materials.
